The Andover School was founded in 2009 by Kyle Diercks and Kari Cassidy-Diercks, parents who had difficulty finding availability in West Seattle in a high quality preschool. Consequently, the Diercks started The Andover School.
The Andover SChool is a year-round preschool experience for children ages 2 years old to pre-K based on the ideals of organic and holistic learning in an unbiased atmosphere that incorporates standard education with dramatic play, cooking classes with etiquette, and creativity with social enterprise in an unbiased atmosphere.
With its successful inaugural year The Andover School is preparing to expand to a second site. Details to be announced soon!

You may already have heard the news, but I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am leaving my position at Spacecraft. I have enjoyed my tenure as COO at Spacecraft – it is an amazing company with a truly incredible team. I am leaving to spend more time on The Andover School expansion (second preschool site opening soon in West Seattle!) and on launching the children’s line that my husband and I have been working on but kept putting on the back burner due to other obligations.
More good stuff happening in October! Pumpkin patches, visits to Sequim, SHS mini reunions, family gatherings and so much more!
